For a used saloon or utility vehicle, make the comparison specific to the model and generation. Identify the advertised seat functions, lighting, audio and parking features, then inspect the controls that operate them. Exterior styling, wheel size and a trim badge should not be used to infer every option inside the car.
These examples include current and older model names. They are not a coverage list: report availability depends on the individual VIN, model year and market.
A VIN identifies an individual vehicle. Reading the characters alone does not give you a complete list of optional equipment. Use the factory specification to understand the original configuration, then compare it with the vehicle and its documents. Model names and trim badges are not a substitute for this check.
VIN decoderAvailable fields depend on the manufacturer’s record for the specific VIN. Not every report includes every category. A factory package name may also differ between markets.
Factory equipment describes the original configuration. It does not prove that a feature still works or that a car has not been modified. Check the vehicle itself and its service documentation before relying on an advertised feature.
