A saloon and a larger utility vehicle can call for very different equipment checks. Identify the model and powertrain first, then review seating, displays, lighting and assistance features. A factory specification can help organise questions about the original configuration; it cannot establish the condition of a battery, suspension system or electronic function today.
These examples include current and older model names. They are not a coverage list: report availability depends on the individual VIN, model year and market.
A VIN identifies an individual vehicle. Reading the characters alone does not give you a complete list of optional equipment. Use the factory specification to understand the original configuration, then compare it with the vehicle and its documents. Model names and trim badges are not a substitute for this check.
VIN decoderAvailable fields depend on the manufacturer’s record for the specific VIN. Not every report includes every category. A factory package name may also differ between markets.
Factory equipment describes the original configuration. It does not prove that a feature still works or that a car has not been modified. Check the vehicle itself and its service documentation before relying on an advertised feature.
