Copy the exact assistance claim
Match the VIN and save the advert before making a checklist. Record the full name of each advertised assistance feature and the model year. Avoid turning a broad phrase such as driver assistance into a list of specific capabilities. Ask which equipment entry or vehicle document supports each claim.
Distinguish hardware from availability
A camera, sensor or steering-wheel control does not establish every function that may use it. Ask the seller to show the relevant status and settings while parked. Where a feature involves an account or connected service, confirm the terms applicable to the next owner instead of relying on the seller’s current access.
Keep a usable cabin record
Test ordinary seat, climate and multimedia controls safely and note any messages shown. Preserve photographs and complete option descriptions. Leave assistance demonstrations that require driving to a suitable, properly supervised setting. Factory specification helps identify equipment; it does not certify calibration, operational condition or the availability of a service in your location.
