Record the individual configuration
Match the VIN and note the model, production information and powertrain from the documents. Copy the complete seating, climate and assistance descriptions. Do not assume that a familiar trim label identifies every feature across different model years or markets.
Check comfort and assistance separately
Ask which seating positions have the advertised adjustments, heating or ventilation and observe normal controls while parked. For assistance features, use the relevant instructions to clarify what is fitted. Do not treat a steering-wheel button or sensor as proof of every capability, or attempt an improvised safety-system test.
Prepare for a clean handover
List keys, charging equipment where applicable and other included accessories. Ask how ownership and connected-service access will be transferred through the proper process without exchanging passwords. Keep installed hardware, current access and original specification as separate records. Battery health, system condition and service history require evidence beyond the factory equipment list.
