Keep the original configuration intact
Match the VIN and record the model, production details and package descriptions from the documents. Preserve the wording for wheels, cabin equipment and assistance features. Do not turn a broad package name into individual claims that are not explained in the record.
Record what the vehicle shows today
Ask for a parked demonstration of the functions you expect to use and note the relevant software or feature descriptions displayed. Treat this as evidence of the present state, not automatic proof of what will remain available after handover. Ask about accounts and service requirements separately.
Prepare an ownership inventory
List keys, cables, adapters and other accessories included in the sale. Check their labels and suitability using the applicable instructions. Arrange for the seller’s account access and your ownership setup to be handled through the proper process at handover, without exchanging passwords. Keep battery condition and charging performance outside the factory-equipment comparison.
