VINBYCAR / FIELD NOTES

Mitsubishi drivetrain and charging accessories

Use the Mitsubishi’s own documents to distinguish drivetrain descriptions, convenience equipment and supplied charging items.

Identify the exact powertrain and version

Match the VIN and write down the model year and drivetrain description in the paperwork. Keep those details separate from the trim badge. Do not assume that similar exterior styling or a familiar model name establishes whether the vehicle has the propulsion system or functions you require.

Make controls and functions explicit

Copy any advertised driving-mode or assistance claims and compare them with the equipment descriptions. Ask for an explanation using the applicable instructions while the vehicle is parked. Avoid experimenting with unfamiliar settings or treating the presence of a control as proof of every related capability.

Check plug-in accessories where applicable

If the vehicle is a plug-in model, list the cables and adapters included, preserving their labels and instructions. Confirm suitability for your intended use separately. Keep battery condition, charging operation and original factory equipment as distinct checks. Missing charging accessories and uncertain equipment entries should remain visible in the comparison rather than being assumed from the advert.
