Separate model, powertrain and trim
Match the VIN and record the model year and powertrain from the vehicle documents. Copy the trim description and any named cabin package. Keep these as separate fields when comparing listings; the engine description or exterior badge does not answer every question about interior equipment.
Check audio claims beyond the logo
Ask for the complete description of any advertised audio upgrade. Compare the document with visible controls and ordinary playback during a parked demonstration. Record multimedia replacements separately. A branded grille or display graphic does not by itself establish the configuration or current condition of the entire system.
Map comfort features to seating positions
Write down which seats have the advertised adjustments, heating or ventilation and ask to see the relevant controls. Check memory functions only as instructed and record what was demonstrated. Keep unclear package entries as questions for the seller. An original equipment list does not confirm present operation, hybrid-system condition or the vehicle’s maintenance record.
