Tie every claim to the vehicle
Record the VIN, model year and market shown in the documents. Copy any audio, camera or assistance package names exactly. A similarly named version in a different market may not answer your questions about this vehicle, so retain the individual specification as the starting point.
Ask what the display actually shows
During a parked demonstration, distinguish a reversing image from additional camera views, sensor graphics and other assistance functions. Note the controls used and the information displayed. Do not infer a complete set of capabilities from a photograph of a screen or a single camera housing.
Check audio and connectivity practically
Ask to demonstrate ordinary audio sources and phone connection, and identify any advertised extra controls or speakers through the documents. If multimedia equipment has been replaced, request installation details. Keep original fitment, later changes and working functions separate. A branded speaker grille alone is not a complete equipment list or proof that the entire system is original.
