Preserve the full interior description
Match the VIN and copy the trim, upholstery and decorative-finish wording exactly. Keep the model and production period alongside it. A shortened interior label or a familiar colour in a photograph may leave material and finish questions unanswered; ask for the specific order details where available.
Check comfort functions separately from materials
If massage, heating or ventilation is advertised, record which seats are covered by the claim. Ask for an ordinary demonstration while parked and distinguish the function from the upholstery description. Attractive stitching or a particular seat shape does not prove every comfort feature is fitted.
Turn lighting descriptions into precise questions
Copy the advertised lighting terms and compare them with the equipment record and appropriate instructions. Ask which functions are actually present, rather than expanding a package label into additional capabilities. Keep observed operation separate from original fitment. An equipment report does not assess lamp condition, alignment or the quality of a previous repair.
