Establish which specification you are reading
Match the VIN across the listing and vehicle documents. Record the model year and the market shown in the paperwork. When comparing an imported Acura with a local advertisement, use documents for the individual car. Do not transfer an equipment list from another market simply because the trim names look alike.
Try the functions you intend to use
Ask for a parked demonstration of the audio system, navigation, phone connection and seat controls that matter to you. Note which functions work locally and which require further confirmation. A screen or labelled button does not establish that every associated service is available to the next owner.
Keep conversions in a separate record
If the seller describes changes to lighting, instruments or multimedia, request the relevant invoices and specifications. Compare those changes with the original equipment record. Keep registration and compliance questions separate from factory equipment: neither an advert nor an equipment list by itself settles whether an imported vehicle meets local requirements.
